NO MORE CANDIDA YEAST INFECTION OR THRUSH!

Yeast Infections In Men - Male Thrush

Men can get penile yeast infections, and it's not just thrush. Heterosexual couples who have unprotected sex can pass yeast infections back and forth endlessly...yikes!

Causes of Male yeast Infection

  • Sexual Transmission: Candida can be transmitted between people by direct contact, and so can be considered a sexually-transmitted disease . A woman with a yeast infection who has unprotected sex with a man can infect him then, treat her own infection, and then get reinfected next time she has sex with him. So during a yeast infection or while being treated,it's advisable to refrain from vaginal intercourse.
  • Antibiotics: Prolonged antibiotic use is another cause of penile yeast infection. Antibitoics can sometimes rid the body of good things allowing the normally-occurring yeast to take over.
  • Diabetes: Men with diabetes are more susceptible to yeast infections.

Symptoms of Male Yeast Infection

  • The most common symptom is irritation and soreness of the head of the penis. There may be some itching as well.
  • Men can experience a white discharge as well and may experience blistering or redness on the head of the penis.
  • The symptoms can be close to those of genital herpes (i.e. red itchy bumps). If you aren't absolutely certain, go see a doctor for testing and diagnosis.
